Injection molding is the current mainstream plastic mold molding process. It melts the plastic at high temperature and then pours it into a prepared mold and applies a certain pressure, so that after cooling, we can get a plastic product that is consistent with the shape of the mold. This method is very suitable for mass production of plastic parts. Today, let’s take a look at the production process of the Shenzhen Injection Molding Factory of Goodtec Industrial Plastic Parts.

1. Clamping injection
Clamping: the process of mold from opening to locking. It is divided into several stages: rapid mold clamping, medium-speed mold clamping, and low-voltage protection and high-pressure mold clamping. This process is to protect the mold and lock the mold smoothly and smoothly. Injection: The screw advances to squeeze the molten material into the mold. The injection stage is divided into injection and pressure holding. Injection is to make the melt material in front of the screw head advance according to the set parameters. The melt material gradually fills the mold under the push of the screw. Because the high temperature melt material shrinks during the curing process, the melt material must be filled again. This feeding stage is to protect Pressure.
2. Storage
Storage material is also called melt glue. After the melt is consumed in the injection stage, the amount of material in the next cycle needs to be supplemented. The storage is the process of supplementing the melt and measuring. After the pressure holding is over, the screw rotates to transport the material from the back forward. During this period, the material melts and accumulates on the screw head due to the shear heating. The screw does not actively retreat during the storage process, but as the fabric in front of the screw gradually increases and the pressure is established, the nozzle is blocked by the material in the mold and the screw is pushed backward by the molten material to stop at the metering point. The resistance that the screw receives in the process of retreating is called back pressure, which is also the pressure built up by the melted material in front of the screw. The resistance of the screw retreat can be adjusted through the back pressure valve to make the front end melt more dense.
3. Shoot back cooling
After the material storage is finished, the screw actively moves back a small distance to reduce the melting pressure of the screw head. Prevent overflow caused by excessive pressure. In this process, the injection molding machine is only responsible for timing the cooling water on the mold to exchange heat. The cooling time for the next action is relatively large in the entire cycle.
After the cooling is complete, we can open the mold. During the mold opening process, we need to keep the movement smooth and smooth without jitter, and the position of the mold opening must be kept accurate. After the mold is opened, it will be found that the preform is difficult to remove, so we will set a push plate on the abrasive tool in advance, and the preform will be easily ejected with just a light push. The above is the basic production process of Shenzhen Injection Molding Factory.
